01 Load
Choose the controlled document and its type. The source stays with you through extraction and review.
The selected PDF remains the reference. Reviewers can return to it to check what the extraction says.
Classification determines which extraction passes apply. Operating procedures use the full eight-stage workflow; other types use the relevant subset.
02 Extract
Each pass looks for a different kind of knowledge. Cross-check the combined draft—and surface uncertainty for review.

Entry conditions explain when the phase applies. Preconditions, actions and postconditions make the instruction explicit, with the source PDF alongside for engineering review.
These checks surface structural and standards-related findings for review. Partial and not-applicable results remain visible: this is an assessment, not a certification.

Conditions, limits, actions and exceptions become typed fields. Software receives a procedural model, not another summary to interpret.
Procedure identity, hazards, required roles and related documents remain explicit fields. The safety envelope keeps operating limits alongside that context.
Actions, source references, preconditions, postconditions and decision traces are explicit JSON fields. The readable view and raw JSON expose the same procedural model.

Record the reviewer, role and approval statement. A content hash and signature make changes to the signed procedure detectable.
The handover records the signer, role and approval statement alongside the procedure and its review state. This capture is still awaiting review and signature.
Signing does not clear unresolved items or grant operating authority. A signed procedure is an input to governed operations.
The statement records the reviewer’s assertion. The cryptographic signature protects the procedural content; it does not guarantee that the procedure is correct.

Document search retrieves passages to help answer a question. XMPro PIE builds a structured procedural model: operating conditions, limits, typed steps and abnormal responses. That model can be inspected, reviewed and signed before an agent uses it.
The operating-procedure workflow uses eight stages, including text extraction and cross-validation. XMPro PIE selects the applicable passes for the procedure type. Compliance assessment is a separate step.
No. A signature and content hash let a verifier detect changes to the signed procedure and check its signature. Engineering review establishes whether the content faithfully represents the source and is appropriate for its intended use. Both matter.
No. The signed procedure provides knowledge, not blanket operating authority. Agent permissions, live operating context, constraints and required human approvals still govern what can happen.
